Tochukwu Sagacious Ikezue, styled Venerable, is the Labour Party (LP) candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District in the Senate election of 16 January 2027 (INEC final list, 12 September 2026). INEC lists him as a 45-year-old man whose declared qualifications are the First School Leaving Certificate, WAEC and a BA. He is a native of Ogidi and the son of the late journalist Chris Ikezue Agulefo. By his own account he served as a priest of the Anglican Diocese of Gwagwalada, Abuja (Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion), and retired from active ministry to enter politics. He declared for the Anambra Central seat in early April 2026 on the LP platform and was its sole aspirant at the party's Option A4 primary, whose results were announced on 4 June 2026. No earlier public office or candidacy was found.
