Kabiru Yusuf, listed by INEC surname-first as "Yusuf Kabiru", is the Action Peoples Party (APP) presidential candidate for the election of 16 January 2027, with Ofordile Peace Egobia as his running mate. INEC's final list of candidates (12 September 2026) gives his age as 54 and his declared qualifications as the First School Leaving Certificate, the Senior Secondary School Certificate and a National Diploma; the schools and years were not found. New Telegraph (10 August 2026) reports that he hails from Soba Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The APP scheduled its presidential primary for 27 May 2026, but no report of the primary or of a vote was found, and a 31 May 2026 round-up still listed the APP among parties without a presidential candidate. He first appeared as the party's candidate when INEC displayed the candidates' particulars on 1 August 2026. His occupation and career before 2026 are not established on the public record. He is not the newspaper publisher Kabiru Yusuf of Media Trust.
