Sulaiman Nasir Muhammed is the National Rescue Movement (NRM) vice-presidential candidate, as running mate to Nkem Esther Okereke, for the presidential election of 16 January 2027. INEC's final list of candidates (12 September 2026) gives his age as 35, which makes him, with the DLA's Nafisat Usaku Abubakar, the youngest vice-presidential candidate on the list, and his declared qualifications as the First School Leaving Certificate and the Senior Secondary School Certificate. The press renders his name "Nasir Muhammed Sulaiman"; his party calls him "Arc. Nasir Suleiman Muhammed". He is a substitute nominee. When INEC displayed the candidates' particulars on 1 August 2026, the NRM running mate was Samuel Magdalene Gali; the party replaced Gali with him before the substitution window closed on 22 August 2026. NRM national chairman Chinedu Obi described the ticket as pairing a woman with "a younger professional", and at the inauguration of the party's presidential campaign council in Abuja on 29 September 2026 he was named its co-deputy chairman. His state of origin, the schools behind his qualifications and his work before 2026 are not yet established on the public record. The party's "Arc." title, the style used by architects in Nigeria, is not explained, and no architecture qualification appears in his INEC declaration.

INEC final list of candidates (Presidential), published 2026-09-12 — SN 12; INEC name: SULAIMAN NASIR MUHAMMED; age 35; male; qualification (as declared to INEC): FSLC SSCE Running mate to Nkem Esther Okereke on the National Rescue Movement (NRM) ticket, as a substitute nominee. When INEC displayed the candidates' particulars (Form EC9) on 1 August 2026, the NRM running mate was Samuel Magdalene Gali (The Punch and TG News, 2 August 2026; Daily Trust still named Gali on 21 August 2026). The NRM replaced Gali with him before the substitution window for presidential and National Assembly candidates closed on Saturday 22 August 2026; the day was not published and no party statement announcing it was found. The Nation and Ripples Nigeria (13 September 2026) reported that the NRM replaced its vice-presidential candidate (their text garbles the name of the person replaced as "Abubakar Adamu Bala"). INEC's final list of 12 September 2026 confirms the ticket (SN 12); at 35 he and the DLA's Nafisat Usaku Abubakar are the youngest vice-presidential candidates on it. The press renders his name "Nasir Muhammed Sulaiman" and the party "Arc. Nasir Suleiman Muhammed". On 29 September 2026 he was named co-deputy chairman of the NRM presidential campaign council. Poll day is 16 January 2027. A running mate is nominated, not elected at a primary.
