INEC lists her as a 53-year-old woman whose declared qualifications are the First School Leaving Certificate, WAEC and NECO. She was presented as the running mate on Monday 1 June 2026 in Makurdi, two days after Byuan emerged as the LP candidate; the party said she is the first woman nominated for deputy governor on a major ticket in Benue. She is a former chairman of Okpokwu Local Government Council: by her own account the first elected female council chairman in the state, serving 2012 to 2014 (Punch gives 2012 to 2015). Daily Post and Punch also report that she served in Goodluck Jonathan's presidential campaign organisation.
