Mustapha Usman Turaki, listed by INEC surname-first as "MUSTAPHA USMAN TURAKI" and named in natural order as "Usman Turaki Mustapha" in some press reports, is the Boot Party (BP) vice-presidential candidate, as running mate to the party's national chairman Sunday Adenuga, for the presidential election of 16 January 2027. INEC's final list of candidates (12 September 2026) gives his age as 40 and his declared qualifications as the First School Leaving Certificate, a NABTEB certificate and a diploma. The BP ticket's campaign profile says he was born in Kano and holds a Higher National Diploma in Architectural Technology from Kano State Polytechnic, and describes him as an architect who has managed commercial and residential projects and who entered politics to tackle Nigeria's housing deficit. His employer has not been independently confirmed. It is his second run on the BP ticket. He was also Adenuga's running mate in the 25 February 2023 presidential election, when the ticket polled 16,156 votes and lost to Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima of the APC. His 2023 profile describes him as married with two children.
