Patience Ndidi Key (INEC: KEY PATIENCE NDIDI; she also styles herself Patience Ndidi Ofure-Key) is the Young Progressives Party (YPP) vice-presidential candidate for the election of 16 January 2027, as running mate to Peter Ada Agada. INEC gives her age as 52; she was born in Benin City and comes from Ekhekhen in Igueben Local Government Area, Edo State. She graduated in geography and regional planning from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, served in the NYSC in Ekiti State, and moved to the United States in 2006, where she earned a nursing degree from Coppin State University and an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus. A healthcare professional, she founded P-Key Health Solutions and the Patience Key Foundation, and leads the Nigerians in Diaspora Chamber of Commerce (NiDCC), which she founded. In the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization Americas (NIDOA) she was the founding president of the Maryland chapter and, from 2017, the first woman to chair the NIDOA-USA Board of Directors. After her terms ended in 2019 she led a holdover board that disputed the new board's election; NIDOA sued her in a US federal court in October 2019 over the use of its name and logo, and the case ended by agreement in August 2022 with no finding against her. She joined the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) in 2021 and came third of four in its presidential primary of 5 June 2022 with 329 votes; her suit to void that primary was dismissed as filed out of time by the Federal High Court, Abuja, on 22 December 2022. In February 2024 she won the PRP ticket for the Edo governorship and was the only woman among 17 candidates in the election of 21 September 2024, which Monday Okpebholo of the APC won. She resigned from the PRP on 27 May 2026 and joined the YPP. On 21 August 2026 the YPP named her running mate to Agada, who replaced its withdrawn presidential candidate, Anita Zugwai-Chukwu. INEC's final list of 12 September 2026 includes the ticket.

In the primary of Sunday 5 June 2022 she came third of four with 329 votes; Kola Abiola won with 2,097, Usman Bugaje had 813 and Gboluga Mosugu 263. The 9.4% share is of the 3,502 votes cast for the four aspirants.
