Ike Chinazam

Vice Chairman of the National Youth Stakeholders Forum, a coalition of youth groups, elected at its national congress in May 2024 with Amb. Muhammad Auwal Musa as chairman. On 27 July 2024 he announced at an Abuja press conference that the forum would not join the #EndBadGovernance protests of 1-10 August 2024 and would instead press for the restoration of the four state refineries. In a statement of 15 December 2024 the forum said it had removed him as vice chairman after a vote of no confidence under its constitution and appointed Chief Dan Mbamala; no reason was published and no response by him was found.

Vice Chairman of the Forum of National Youth Leaders of Political Parties in Nigeria under chairman Amb. Muhammed Auwal Musa (NNPP), whose one-year tenure ended with the forum's election of 9 December 2024 (so probably from about December 2023; no report of his own election was found). The forum saw a leadership dispute in mid-2024; the Musa executive held the December 2024 election, at which he was elected chairman.

Elected Chairman of the Forum of National Youth Leaders of Political Parties in Nigeria on 9 December 2024 for a one-year term, succeeding Amb. Muhammed Auwal Musa; his inaugural speech called for the proposed national youth conference and for palliatives after the fuel-subsidy removal. In February 2025 he signed the forum's statements as co-chairman with APGA's Eze Onyebuchi Chukwu, including its denial of an African Action Congress allegation that national youth leaders had been paid N30 million to endorse President Tinubu. Still described as the forum's chairman on 25 December 2025 and as its former chairman on 13 July 2026; the day the chairmanship ended was not found.

INEC final list of candidates (Presidential), published 2026-09-12 — SN 2; INEC name: IKE CHINAZAM; age 50; male; qualification (as declared to INEC): FSLC SSCE BNG Running mate to Aliyu Bin Abbas on the Action Democratic Party (ADP) ticket. INEC prints surnames first, so "IKE CHINAZAM" is Chinazam Ike. Abbas named him in a statement by his media aide Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson dated Monday 13 July 2026 (The Punch and Vanguard report it as issued on Tuesday 14 July) and presented him in Abuja on Tuesday 14 July 2026, where he accepted. INEC's display of candidates' particulars (Form EC9) on Saturday 1 August 2026 listed "Ike Chinazam (ADP)". On 14 August 2026 Abbas publicly warned against any attempt to substitute his own candidacy; the ticket was unchanged on the final list of 12 September 2026. Poll day is 16 January 2027. A running mate is nominated, not elected at a primary.

National Youth Leader of the Action Democratic Party, reported from 9 December 2024 (Independent) to at least 29 December 2025 (The Punch). In December 2025 he represented the ADP in consultations with the Labour Party on a "Ballot Alliance for Good Governance" to back consensus candidates, starting with the FCT Area Council election of 21 February 2026. The start date was not found (the youth leaders' forum he helped lead from about December 2023 admits only national youth leaders of parties), and whether he kept the post after his nomination as vice-presidential candidate in July 2026 was not reported.

Project Director of Season.com Nig. Ltd., where, according to the ADP's statement of 13 July 2026 announcing his nomination, he contributed to "sustainable housing development and economic growth". That statement is the only source: it gives no years, does not say whether he still holds the role, and no company record was checked (the CAC register was unavailable). He is from Ehime Mbano LGA, Imo State.
