Raymond Edoh (INEC prints EDOH RAYMOND; the press styles him Dr Raymond Edoh) is the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) deputy governorship candidate in Benue State, running mate to Prof. Terhemba Shija, for the election of 6 February 2027 (INEC final list, 10 October 2026). INEC lists him as a 44-year-old man whose declared qualifications are the First School Leaving Certificate and the Senior School Certificate. He was a governorship aspirant before joining the ticket: on 11 May 2026 he was an African Democratic Congress (ADC) aspirant (Idoma Voice), and the weekend of 16-17 May 2026 he defected to the NDC with supporters (Leadership, 18 May 2026). A Zone C elders' committee backed him for the NDC governorship ticket by an 11-1 verdict (Leadership, 1 June 2026); the ticket went to Shija (unveiled 3 August 2026) and Edoh became his running mate, described as the NDC deputy candidate from 19-20 August 2026. Leadership calls him an economist and researcher, a former secretary-general of the Nigerian Youth Congress and a UN-Habitat ambassador.
