Attah Mohammed Ibrahim (also written Mohammed Ibrahim Atta or Attah) is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Adamawa Central Senatorial District in the Senate election of 16 January 2027 (INEC final list, 12 September 2026). INEC lists him as a 73-year-old man whose declared qualifications are the First School Leaving Certificate, the Senior School Certificate and a Higher National Diploma. He says he was a founding member of the PDP in 1998 and has stayed in the party since. He is a former chairman of Yola North Local Government; by his own account he held the post four times, by appointment and by election (term dates not found). He has also been a member of the Local Government Service Commission and, in October 2022, was Commissioner 2 on the Adamawa State Pension Board. In interviews published on 23 August 2026 he said he was running to give Adamawa Central better representation in the Senate. Details of his 2026 PDP primary were not found in public sources as of October 2026.
