INEC final list of candidates (Governorship, Cross River State), published 2026-10-10 — SN 1; INEC name: ASHIPU JOSEPH AGABA; age 66; male; qualification (as declared to INEC): First School Leaving Certficate WAEC DIP.in personnel management; governorship candidate: Ali Patrick · Named as running mate: day and manner not found. CrossRiverWatch's 31 Aug 2026 report of INEC's display of candidates' particulars lists only the governorship candidates (Ali Patrick for AA), so the earliest source naming him is INEC's final list of 10 Oct 2026. An earlier photo hunt found a 'Magistrate Ashipu' in 2021 Cross River stories; nothing ties that person to this candidate, so it is not used.

How sources and review work
A reviewed source may establish that an allegation was made; it does not establish guilt. Open each record’s sources to read its evidence. Historical reporting may not establish a case’s current status.
