Aliyu Bin Abbas

Director-General of the Atiku Care Foundation, the humanitarian platform of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar: named as DG in the Atiku campaign statement of 2 December 2018, and on 2 February 2021 relieved several national, zonal and state directors in an overhaul. His campaign site calls the post "Executive Director" and dates it 2014 to 2023 (the start and end years rest on that site only).

Appointed Special Assistant (Youth Support Groups) to Atiku Abubakar, then the PDP presidential candidate, on Sunday 2 December 2018, and still described as Atiku's special assistant/adviser on youth and support groups in 2021 and before the 2023 elections. The exit day was not found: his campaign site ends the role in 2023, and his campaign said on 30 May 2026 that the relationship with Atiku had ended "over two years ago" after a political divergence.

Appointed national grand patron of the Northern Youth Advocates for Atiku, a pro-Atiku support group, in 2020. After he suspended the group's founder, Bello Muazu, alleging activities at variance with its ideals, the group's leadership revoked the appointment by a statement reported on 30 June 2021, accusing him of interfering in its affairs. These were the group's allegations in an internal dispute; no further statement by Abbas was found.

Founder and Youth President (also styled National President) of the National Youth Alliance, a youth and women's political movement he says was set up after the 2023 general elections under the slogan "Birthing a New Nigeria"; he was its president by January 2024. It sought registration as a political party and was refused by INEC, then continued as a movement: it held a northern and southern youth dialogue at Arewa House, Kaduna, that signed a peace accord in December 2025, inaugurated its 36 state and FCT chairmen at the NAF Conference Centre, Abuja, on 26 January 2026 and local government coordinators across the zones from February 2026. In April 2026 its structures joined the Action Democratic Party with him.

The Nation described it as a consensus adoption; no rival aspirant or vote tally was reported.

ADP presidential candidate for the election of Saturday 16 January 2027, with Chinazam Ike as running mate. The campaign announced Ike as running mate in a statement dated 14 July 2026, and on Tuesday 14 July said both nominations had been uploaded to the INEC portal. His campaign was publicly launched at the Bristol Palace Hotel, Kano, on 1 July 2026. On 14 August 2026 he warned, in a statement titled "No secret substitution of my presidential mandate", that an opposition presidential candidate was pressing the ADP national chairman to replace him; no substitution followed. INEC's final list of 12 September 2026 carries the ticket at SN 2: "ABBAS-BIN ALIYU" (44, M; FSLC, SSCE, BSC) and "IKE CHINAZAM" (50, M).
