Alin Bababa Abdulkadir is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governorship candidate in Bauchi State, running mate to Adamu Usman Ahmed, for the election of 6 February 2027 (INEC final list, 10 October 2026). INEC prints his name surname-first and lists him as a 54-year-old man whose declared qualifications are the First School Leaving Certificate and the Senior School Certificate; the press writes the name Abdulkadir Alin Bababa (Tribune: Abdulqadir). He was unveiled as running mate on Sunday 5 July 2026 by the candidate, who said he chose him as an experienced politician for a 'formidable team'. Daily Trust describes him as a former chairman of the PDP in Bauchi Local Government Area; in July 2022 he was reported as that chairman (a defection event on Monday 4 July 2022 at which he was represented by his deputy). In the Bauchi PDP state executive election reported on 1 September 2024 he was listed as Organizing Secretary. In 2026 he is on the ticket of the Abdulrahman Mohammed-led (Wike-backed) PDP faction. No elected or appointed public office, school names or business career were found in public sources as of October 2026.
