Before the ballot,

The places, education and experiences behind this candidate.

Juliet Hassana Muoneme (INEC: MUONEME JULIET HASSANA; styled "Dr Juliet Muoneme" in press reports) is the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) candidate for the Federal Capital Territory Senatorial District in the Senate election of 16 January 2027 (INEC final list, 12 September 2026). The PRP presented her as its FCT senatorial candidate at the Abuja ceremony where Donald Duke accepted the party's presidential ticket (Voice of Nigeria, 11 June 2026). INEC lists her age as 54 and her declared qualifications as the First School Leaving Certificate, the Senior School Certificate and a BSc; INEC's list prints her sex as "M", but reports from June to August 2026 refer to her as a woman. In August 2026 she campaigned on what she called the "FCT RISE Agenda" (representation, research, innovation, inclusion, stewardship, entrepreneurship and empowerment), pledging skills, empowerment and credit-access programmes for women (17 August 2026) and a bill to regulate cattle movement in Abuja through designated ranches (29 August 2026). Press reports describe her as having a background in education, research and human-capacity development. Details of her 2026 PRP primary, her career history and any earlier public office were not found in public sources as of October 2026.
