Joseph Gerebo is the Democratic Leadership Alliance (DLA) candidate for Bayelsa Central Senatorial District in the Senate election of 16 January 2027 (INEC final list, 12 September 2026). INEC lists him as a 51-year-old man whose declared qualifications are the First School Leaving Certificate and the Senior School Certificate. He contested the same seat in the general election of 25 February 2023 as the Action Peoples Party (APP) candidate (INEC listed him then as Gerebo Joseph, 47); the seat was won by Benson Konbowei of the PDP. His vote total, the details of his 2026 DLA primary, his career and any public office were not found in public sources as of October 2026.
