Bundi Ahmadu Pius is the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) governorship candidate in Adamawa State for the election of 6 February 2027 (INEC final list, 10 October 2026), with Umar Abubakar as his running mate. INEC lists him as a 39-year-old man; the qualifications column is blank. Leadership reported on 17 January 2025 that a Bundi Ahmadu Pious was elected NNPP state chairman for Adamawa at the party's state congress in Yola (matched on name, party and state; no source confirms it is the same person). INEC's display of candidates in Yola, reported by Daily Trust on 31 August 2026, named a different person, Bala Abubakar Naibi, as the NNPP candidate; why the name changed was not found. Details of the NNPP primary, his schooling and any earlier public office were not found in public sources as of October 2026.
