Aminu Ahmed Galadima (INEC: AMINU AHMED GALADIMA; the press mostly writes Ahmed Galadima, Ahmed Galadima Aminu or Ahmed Tijjani Galadima) is the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Adamawa State for the election of 6 February 2027 (INEC final list, 10 October 2026), with Usman Adamu Dali Kamale as his running mate. INEC lists him as a 62-year-old man. He is a career official of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF): by February 2016 he was General Manager of its Education and Training Department, when Daily Trust reported him taking over the Fund's management at a handover from the outgoing executive secretary, and on 17 October 2023 President Tinubu appointed him Executive Secretary and CEO (acting until a four-year term from 26 December 2023). Premium Times reports a bachelor's degree in agriculture (1988) and a master's in banking and finance from the University of Ibadan (1998); the institution of the first degree is reported differently elsewhere. He resigned from the PTDF in March or April 2026 to seek the governorship (the Presidency named his successor on 2 April 2026), declared on 17 April 2026, and won the APC primary on 22 May 2026 with 414,444 votes against Abdulrazak Namdas (86,004) and Abdulrahman Haske (about 65,000), after three other aspirants stepped down for him; Haske raised concerns about collation. Governor Ahmadu Fintiri announced Adamu Kamale, a former member of the House of Representatives, as his running mate (Daily Trust, 18 July 2026). No court case or investigation naming him was found.
