Ijioma Uchechukwu Charles is the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) governorship candidate in Abia State for the election of 6 February 2027 (INEC final list, 10 October 2026), with Ehiemere Augustine Chinonye as his running mate. INEC lists him as a 52-year-old man whose declared qualifications are the First School Leaving Certificate and the Senior School Certificate. He appeared on the list of candidates INEC displayed in Umuahia in early September 2026 (reported by Vanguard on 2 September as "Uchechukwu Charles Ijioma"). Details of the 2026 APGA primary, his career and any earlier public office were not found in public sources as of October 2026. He is not the retired Major General Ijioma Nwokoro Ijioma, the Action Peoples Party candidate in the same race.
