Biography
Barrister Maxwell Obinali Mgbudem, from Imo State, was elected National Chairman of the Accord Party at the party's national convention in Abuja in July 2024, having previously chaired its caretaker committee. He is the INEC-recognised authentic National Chairman; a rival faction's November 2025 attempt to install Chris Imumolen was rejected.
