Recorded outcome
An interim order dated 16 June 2020, sought in his name during the APC leadership dispute, directed that he act as APC National Secretary until a validly convened NEC decided or the pending motion was heard. He publicly disowned it on 18 June 2020, saying he was not a party to the suit and that the North-East zone had nominated Waziri Bulama as acting National Secretary. The NEC met on 25 June 2020 and dissolved the NWC; no further proceedings were found.
